Riyadh – 9 December 2025: In celebration of a journey spanning more than eighty years, Community Jameel Saudi Foundation participated in the Riyadh Motor Show from 9 to 13 December through a dedicated interactive pavilion located adjacent to the Abdul Latif Jameel, Toyota, and Lexus pavilions. This participation enabled visitors to explore the key milestones that shaped the evolution of the foundation’s developmental initiatives, beginning with the vision of its founder, Sheikh Abdul Latif Jameel (may he rest in peace), and extending to the current innovative programs supported by the foundation. Over the five-day exhibition, the pavilion welcomed approximately 5,000 visitors, including car enthusiasts and residents of Riyadh.
The interactive pavilion provided a comprehensive overview of the programs and initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of more than 1.3 million beneficiaries, across six areas of development: job and income creation, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship empowerment, social and healthcare initiatives, environmental conservation initiatives, and support for science and technology. The pavilion highlighted the foundation’s prominent initiatives, including Bab Rizq Jameel, which has contributed to the creation of more than 1,000,000 job opportunities since its establishment in 2003. It further showcased Nafisa Shams Company and Academy, dedicated to training and empowering women in arts and crafts, which has trained approximately 20,000 women and produced more than 1,000,000 handcrafted products since its launch in 2006. In addition, the pavilion featured information about the StartSmart Hub for Entrepreneurship, which delivers training programs and entrepreneurial competitions across the Kingdom, and has empowered more than 10,000 entrepreneurs through training and capacity-building programs since 2016. The pavilion also highlighted the achievements of the Abdul Latif Jameel Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation, specializing in treating mobility impairments using advanced technologies, which has provided therapeutic services to more than 125,000 individuals since 1994, alongside other charitable and development programs.
In this context, Dr. May Taibah, Member of the Board of Trustees of Community Jameel Saudi, stated: “Our participation in the Riyadh Motor Show this year aims to introduce visitors to the social impact of the Abdul Latif Jameel family, represented by the long development journey undertaken by Community Jameel Saudi in serving society. Our presence reflects our commitment to supporting national development and opening channels of engagement with youth and various segments of the community. Through this participation, we reaffirm Community Jameel Saudi’s ongoing role as a development partner focused on empowering individuals, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities that contribute to a prosperous future for Saudi society.”
Through this participation, Community Jameel Saudi looks forward to continuing to expand the reach of its development impact across all regions of the Kingdom through more inclusive initiatives. The foundation also reaffirms its commitment to developing empowerment programs that enhance individual capabilities and support aspirations, contributing to the building of a more prosperous society and reinforcing a leading national model in social responsibility and sustainable development.
