Bab Rizq Jameel, in collaboration with the Saudi Retail Academy, organized the Retail Sector Employment Forum during July 8–9, at the Academy’s headquarters in Riyadh, with the aim of attracting more than 200 job seekers to join On-the-Job-Training programs through six employers, and to support the qualification of national talent to enter the labor market. More than 3,800 people registered for the forum, and job interviews were conducted with 124 job seekers.

The organization of this forum comes within the framework of joint efforts to enhance employment opportunities in the retail sector, through offering Associate Diploma programs accredited locally and internationally, delivered as part of strategic partnerships with leading global training providers, contributing to skills development and linking training with practical application in the work environment.

The forum witnessed notable attendance and engagement from visitors, during which the available training pathways were presented, and program benefits were explained, alongside giving visitors the opportunity to apply directly, communicate with admission and registration teams, and take part in job interviews. The forum also focused on highlighting the importance of On-the-Job-Training programs as one of the effective pathways for empowering job seekers, by providing an integrated training environment that combines theoretical qualification with on-the-job practical training, enhancing the readiness of national talent and keeping pace with labor market needs.
