- Entrepreneurs Advancement
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote an entrepreneurial culture and equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to explore future opportunities, StartSmart Saudi participated in the “Creative Careers Days,” organized by Hayy Jameel, a dedicated arts and creative hub affiliated with Art Jameel, held in Jeddah from 11 to 13 February 2026.
StartSmart’s participation included delivering workshops and providing entrepreneurial mentoring and advisory sessions to event attendees, including students, emerging creatives, and independent creative business owners.

A total of 75 participants benefited from StartSmart’s activities during the event through mentorship sessions titled “Project Space,” where beneficiaries engaged with entrepreneurship experts to discuss key topics, such as marketing, sales, business development, and financial and legal considerations. In addition, the Hub delivered a workshop entitled “Pricing for Creative Businesses,” through which participants learned how to overcome common pricing challenges in creative services using a clear, strategy-based financial framework.
In this context, Mr. Mohammed Abdulghaffar, Senior General Manager of Initiatives at the Community Jameel Saudi Foundation, stated: “Our participation in the Creative Careers Days reflects our belief that creative talent is a valuable asset that individuals can leverage to unlock limitless opportunities, particularly as the creative sector represents a promising economic field that requires entrepreneurial tools for its development. Through the mentorship sessions and workshop, we aimed to equip creative practitioners and job seekers with the foundations necessary to transform their artistic passion into sustainable ventures. We are not only committed to supporting creatives in refining their talents, but also to empowering them to recognize the value of their work and compete confidently in the marketplace.”
This participation aligns with the broader efforts of the Community Jameel Saudi Foundation and StartSmart Saudi to build impactful partnerships that support entrepreneurs, develop youth capabilities, and help them discover their talents and potential, transforming their ideas into scalable startups capable of growth and expansion. These efforts contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in advancing human capital development and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
