- Entrepreneurs Advancement
In continuation of Community Jameel Saudi Foundation’s efforts to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, the Foundation participated in Biban Forum 2025, which was organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at). The Biban Forum is one of the most prominent platforms supporting entrepreneurship locally and internationally. The Foundation’s initiative, StartSmart Hub, participated in the forum with a pavilion, featuring ten startups supported by the hub from various sectors. Bab Rizq Jameel also participated within the same pavilion, showcasing its programs aimed at empowering Saudi talent and providing employment opportunities, with a focus on developing youth skills in alignment with labor market needs.

Throughout the four days of Biban Forum, the Hub’s pavilion was visited by four thousand people, including visitors and interested parties who learned about the key offerings of the participating startups and the Hub’s services that it provides to entrepreneurs. The pavilion was honored by a visit from Mr. Hussien Mohammed Jameel, Director of Entrepreneurship Relations at Abdul Latif Jameel Finance Company, during which he examined the startups and listened to their experiences and efforts to develop their businesses. During his visit, he emphasized that Community Jameel Saudi’s Foundation support for startups aligns with the Foundation’s role in empowering entrepreneurs, and building a nurturing ecosystem that enables them to grow and thrive in Saudi and international markets.
As part of the forum’s activities, several startups participating in the StartSmart pavilion, namely, Smart Methods, Fahman, and iRama, presented their pitches to investors, in a step aimed at improving funding opportunities and building professional partnerships that contribute to supporting startups’ sustainability and business expansion. Meanwhile, the LanCul startup announced that it secured an investment from the Makkah Valley Investment Fund, while others forged collaborations and declared partnerships with other organizations participating in the Forum.

On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Abdulghaffar, Senior General Manager of Social Initiatives and Entrepreneurship at Community Jameel Saudi Foundation, stated: “Our participation in Biban Forum 2025 reaffirms Community Jameel Saudi Foundation and StartSmart Hub’s commitment to supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom and enabling entrepreneurs to access the resources and opportunities that help them grow and innovate. We are proud of the achievements made by startups during the forum, and we seek to continue supporting them in ways that enhance their contribution to the national economy.”
This participation confirms Community Jameel Saudi Foundation’s pursuit of empowering the entrepreneurial generation, providing a nurturing environment for innovation, and enhancing the presence of startups in local and international forums, in line with the aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030. In a related context, SarsatX won third place in the Entrepreneurship World Cup during the forum’s events. It is worth noting that the company had won first place in the Environment track during the Start Smart Competition in 2023. It benefited from advanced training programs and the financial prize at the time, which contributed to accelerating its growth and enhancing its readiness for continued success.
